Leadership for Africa - Cameroon, Ivory Coast and Senegal

The DAAD has launched its new scholarship programme "Leadership for Africa" with funding from the German Foreign Office. The programme supports master's degrees at German universities, with the exception of the subjects of human, veterinary and dental medicine and public health, as well as law, art, music and architecture.
Two target groups:
1) Highly qualified refugees who hold refugee status and fulfil the necessary qualifications for Master’s studies in Germany.
Applicants must fulfil the following conditions:- Holding refugee status in their host countries
- Country of asylum has to be either Cameroon, Ivory Coast or Senegal
- Completed Bachelor’s degree at least at the time of arrival in Germany
2) Highly qualified academics from Cameroon, Ivory Coast or Senegal
Applicants must fulfil the following conditions:- Citizenship of Cameroon, Ivory Coast or Senegal
- Country of residence is Cameroon, Ivory Coast or Senegal at the time of application
- Completed Bachelor’s degree at least at the time of arrival in Germany

Application feeStudy programmes with charge tuiton fees or private universities are not open for applications - therefore there are no direct application fees. Indirect cost ma arise depending on whether applicants can provide all the required documents.
